About MTH201 – Pre Calculus
This course prepares you to take advanced courses in Calculus. Topics include concepts of Euclidean Geometry involving points, lines, circles and quadrilaterals. This course will also focus on the study of angles, trigonometry of angles and the practical applications of the laws of sines and cosines. Register for this Pre Calculus online course.

MTH201 - Topics
- Definitions and postulates, angles and their relationships, parallel lines and congruent angles, the angles of a triangle.
- Circles and related angles, perimeter and area of polygons, circumference and area of circles.
- Angles, radians, relationship between degrees and radians, coterminal angle, use right triangles to evaluate trigonometric functions, use right triangle trigonometry to solve applied problems.
- Reference angles, use the Law of Sines to solve oblique triangles, solve applied problems using the Law of Sines and Law of Cosines.
- Review of all objectives covered in class.
Prerequisites
Completion of MTH105: College Algebra or an equivalent course in Math.
