Background and Industry Experience

About Me:

Timothy Allison-Aipa, Ph.D., is a Biostatistician who joined the Comparative Effectiveness and Clinical Outcomes Research Center (CECORC) team, by way of Loma Linda University School of Medicine, in June of 2020. In 1999, Tim earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Alliant International University. Tim has 28 years of research experience, including 18 as a civilian and 10 as an active-duty service member (rank of Major) within the United States Army Reserves as a Research Psychologist. While on active duty, Tim was the first author of two journal articles focused on psychological health of U.S. Army soldiers. Currently, with CECORC, Tim has been a co-investigator primarily examining outcomes related to emergency general surgery using the American College of Surgeon’s National Surgical Quality Improvement Project dataset. In his free time, Tim enjoys travelling with his wife, Debra, and is proud of his three children, Lauren, Matthew, and Micah.
