CIAT's Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and Administrator bootcamp is ideal for anyone looking to break into cloud computing through Microsoft's ecosystem or advance their existing IT career into Azure administration. This bootcamp is perfect for:
Beginners with no prior cloud experience who want foundational Azure knowledge and a clear certification path.
IT professionals and system administrators managing Windows Server environments who need cloud skills.
Support specialists and help desk technicians ready to expand into cloud infrastructure management.
Career changers seeking high-demand Azure skills in a market where Microsoft cloud expertise is highly valued.
Students or working professionals who prefer an intensive 5-day learning experience with live instruction, hands-on Azure labs, and the opportunity to earn two Microsoft certifications.
With expert instructors, real Azure portal practice, and unlimited certification exam attempts, participants gain the skills, experience, and credentials to pursue Azure administration careers immediately.
No prior Azure or cloud experience is required. The bootcamp starts with Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), making it accessible to complete beginners. Basic understanding of IT concepts and familiarity with Windows operating systems is helpful but not required. If you're completely new to technology, consider pairing this with our CompTIA A+ bootcamp first for a stronger IT foundation.
Yes! This bootcamp prepares you for both exams through a structured two-step approach. Days 1-2 focus on Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) content, Days 3-5 cover Azure Administrator (AZ-104) topics. You'll receive exam vouchers for both certifications with unlimited retake attempts. Most students take the AZ-900 exam first to build confidence, then tackle the AZ-104 exam.
Both Azure and AWS are leading cloud platforms with strong job markets. Azure has particularly strong adoption in enterprises already using Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365). If your organization uses Microsoft products or you come from a Windows administration background, Azure may be more natural. Many cloud professionals eventually learn both platforms, the concepts you learn in one transfer well to the other.
Absolutely. Microsoft Azure is the second-largest cloud platform globally and continues to grow rapidly, especially in enterprise environments. Azure certifications validate your cloud skills to employers and can significantly boost your earning potential, Azure Administrators earn $131K-$148K on average. These certifications are recognized worldwide and open doors to cloud computing roles across countless organizations using Microsoft technologies.
The Microsoft Azure bootcamp costs $995 (regularly $2,640) and includes preparation for BOTH certifications, all course materials, hands-on Azure labs, unlimited exam attempts for both exams, and career support services. This dual-certification approach offers exceptional value compared to taking each certification separately. Your certification achievements can also be applied as transfer credits toward any CIAT certificate or degree program.
CIAT is a Microsoft Learning Partner, ensuring you receive official Microsoft curriculum and current materials. Unlike self-study, you get live instruction from Microsoft-certified professionals, hands-on practice in real Azure portal environments, comprehensive coverage of both certifications, and unlimited exam attempts for both exams. This intensive, structured approach accelerates your learning and maximizes your certification success.
Yes. You'll work directly in Azure portal environments during the bootcamp, practicing with real Azure services including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure AD, Storage Accounts, Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, and more. You'll also use PowerShell and Azure CLI for automation tasks. These aren't simulations, you'll configure actual cloud resources just like you would in an Azure Administrator role.
All CIAT bootcamps are delivered live online with interactive labs and real-time instructor support, allowing you to participate from anywhere with an internet connection.
The Azure bootcamp runs 9 hours per day with a 1-hour break: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST / 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
YES! It's truly unlimited for BOTH exams. You receive exam vouchers for both Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Azure Administrator (AZ-104) exams. If you don't pass either exam on your first attempt, you'll need to complete 2 practice exams at 90% or higher to demonstrate readiness before receiving your next voucher. After 2 failed attempts on either exam, you will be offered the opportunity to retake relevant bootcamp instruction at no cost.
While the bootcamp prepares you for both certifications, you can choose to focus on just AZ-900 if you prefer. However, we strongly encourage attempting both since the bootcamp covers all necessary content and you receive vouchers for both exams with unlimited attempts, there's no additional cost and significant career value in earning both credentials, especially the professional-level AZ-104.
We strongly recommend taking AZ-900 first, even if you have IT experience. It establishes foundational Azure knowledge, terminology, and service understanding that makes AZ-104 content much easier to absorb. The AZ-900 exam is also shorter and less technical, giving you confidence before tackling the more challenging administrator-level exam.
Basic PowerShell knowledge is helpful for AZ-104, and we cover essential PowerShell commands during the bootcamp. You don't need to be a scripting expert, but you should understand basic PowerShell syntax and be able to use Azure PowerShell cmdlets for common administrative tasks. We'll provide the foundational scripting skills you need during Days 4-5.
Refunds are calculated based on how much instruction you’ve received:
Cancel by the end of Day 1 (8 hours or 20% of the course) = 80% refund.
Cancel by the end of Day 2 (16 hours or 40% of the course) = 60% refund.
Cancel by the end of Day 3 (24 hours or 60% of the course) = 40% refund.
Cancel after Day 3 (more than 60% completed) = no refund available.
No refund is available once you complete Day 3 (24 hours of instruction or 60% of the course). This policy ensures fairness since you’ve received the majority of the course content and instruction by this point.
Yes. You can turn your Microsoft Azure certification achievements into transfer credits that apply toward any CIAT certificate or degree program. This allows you to seamlessly transition from bootcamp training to full academic programs while maximizing the value of your learning investment.
