Background and Industry Experience

I am a graduate of Chapman University in Southern California, where I received an MFA in Creative Writing and MA in English Literature. I received a BA in English/Journalism from Madonna University in Michigan. For decades, I’ve worked in corporate communications, marketing, and public relations and founded my own writing and marketing services company.
I’m also a published author and certified stress management coach. In addition to teaching college writing, literature, and communications courses, I also lead wellness workshops across the U.S. I’m a big fan of the outdoors and try to spend as much time in nature as possible.
