Background and Industry Experience

I have 8+ years of experience in IT/cybersecurity with primary experience in consulting with some of the largest organizations in the world. I primarily work in cybersecurity operations and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). My industry exposure ranges from healthcare and government to big tech and the SaaS industry.

I graduated with a B.Sc. in Information Systems from San Diego State University and it was there that I developed my passion for cybersecurity in one of the computer networking courses. Outside of work, I love to travel and have been to Japan too many times in the past couple of years (is there ever enough times?).

At my day job I’m a: Manager, IT/Cyber Risk & Compliance where I work for a SaaS organization helping our clients build comprehensive GRC programs and efficiently manage risk in the ever-changing IT landscape.

As a San Diego native, I enjoy the active beach culture here and try to occupy myself with working out or enjoying the beautiful natural landscape of my city!
