My journey in healthcare began 12 years ago in sterile processing, where I worked as a tech ensuring surgical instruments were safe and ready for use. I quickly moved into a proctor role, helping train others in the field. From there, I advanced to a supervisory position on a nursing unit, where I oversaw children’s services and maternal child health—a role that deepened my passion for patient-centered care and team leadership. Currently, I work as an educator for a medical technology company, where I train healthcare professionals on the latest tools and innovations that support better outcomes in surgical procedures. Academically, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, with a capstone in Healthcare Informatics, which has helped me bridge the gap between clinical care and technology.
