Associate Dean of Education
Phil Blas is an experienced IT leader and educator with over 30 years in information technology, bringing real-world experience from his background as a Chief Information Officer and IT administrator in both healthcare and education to the role. As an Associate Dean of Education for CIAT’s Computer Information Systems (CIS) program, he oversees the many elements of the core CIS program here at CIAT.
Phil holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Information Systems Security, a bachelor’s degree in Technical Management, and multiple California CTE Teaching credentials. He is an active member of many professional organizations, including InfraGard and the CompTIA Instructor Network, and is committed to preparing students for successful careers in technology.
