I’m a Cyber Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where I focus on securing enterprise systems, automating security operations, and managing vulnerabilities. Before moving into engineering, I worked as an ISSO handling security compliance, and I got my start in IT on a service desk. Prior to tech, I served in the Marine Corps in the infantry and as a firearms instructor.
I went from the Marine Corps infantry to cybersecurity engineering, so I know firsthand that you can break into this field from anywhere. After the Marines, I started on a service desk and worked my way up to engineering. I have a B.S. and M.S. in Cybersecurity from SNHU and I’m working on a PhD in Offensive Cyber Engineering at Capitol Technology University. I enjoy helping students build real, job-ready skills, and I’m always happy to talk career paths.
We hire working professionals who want to bring their experience into the classroom. If you are active in IT, healthcare, or business and want to help students get where you are, we would love to talk.
Teaching at CIAT is flexible and collaborative. You will be part of a faculty that takes real-world relevance seriously.
