He also helped secure over $5 million in grant funding for workforce programs, lab modernization, and AI and robotics initiatives. He built partnerships with employers such as Universal Studios Orlando and Acron Aviation, and his departments earned IBCCES Certified Neurodiverse Workplace certification. His career began in IT operations at Purdue University and Seminole State, which grounds his academic work in real-world technology practice.
In 2025, Orlando Business Journal named him one of its “People to Know in Education.” He is the author of Everyday Office Tools and Artificial Intelligence (2026). Dr. Stark holds a Ph.D. in Technology Leadership and Innovation and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, an MBA from the University of Florida, and a graduate certificate in Data Science from Indiana University.
