Term break is a great time to sharpen your skills, close knowledge gaps, and get ready for your next certification exam. CIAT’s June bootcamps and workshops are short, intensive, and built specifically for students who’ve already completed the relevant coursework. Whether you’re prepping for CompTIA, AWS, Cisco, or looking to level up with Python or AI tools, there’s something on this list for you.

These four-day bootcamps (4 hours/day) are designed to get you across the finish line on your certification exam. Each session picks up where your coursework left off, focusing specifically on exam objectives that aren’t covered in class. You’ll review key concepts, work through practice questions, and get direct access to instructors who know the exam inside and out.
Bootcamps are available for:
• CompTIA Tech+
• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• CompTIA Security+
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Azure Administrator
• Cisco CCNA
Prerequisite coursework must be completed before attending. See the schedule table above for details.
New to IT certifications and not sure where to start? This single-session bootcamp gives you a clear overview of the certification landscape, including what the exams are, how they’re structured, and how to build a study plan that works. No prerequisites required, so anyone can attend.
This two-day coding bootcamp is for students who have completed ASD101B and are ready to put their Python skills to work. You’ll apply design patterns in a hands-on project format, building something real rather than just reviewing theory. More details on the project specifics are coming soon — check back for an updated description before registering.
For the first time this term break, CIAT is offering an AI Productivity Workshop and it’s open to all students, no prerequisites needed. This single-session workshop is focused on the practical side of working with AI: how to write better prompts, how to evaluate different tools, and how to actually get useful results in an academic and professional context. If you’ve been using AI tools and wondering whether you’re getting the most out of them, this session is worth your time.
This hands-on workshop is the culminating experience for students who’ve completed the CIS101A/101B or CIS101A/102B courseware. You’ll take the equipment and concepts from those courses and put them together to build your own functional home lab, covering compute, storage, and basic networking infrastructure. It’s the kind of practical, build-it-yourself experience that makes the concepts click.
The date for this workshop is still being confirmed based on instructor availability. We’ll update the events calendar and this page as soon as it’s locked in.
All bootcamps and workshops are listed on the CIAT Events Calendar.
