• Current Student
   Actively enrolled and currently taking classes at CIAT
  
   
• Graduate Student
   Graduate from a CIAT certificate or undergraduate program.
  
   
• Inactive Student
   Not actively enrolled, have dropped, or transferred out of the program.
   

Types of Appointments Available: 

Quick 15
 Quick 15-minute appointment with a Career Services Advisor. This appointment is best for quick questions, form completion, or as a brief follow-up.

Career Exploration
 The Career Exploration appointment assists with providing guidance, support, and resources in exploring different career options, clarifying career goals, and making informed decisions about academic and professional paths.
45 Minutes

Resume Building
 The purpose of the resume-building appointment is to assist with crafting a professional and impactful resume that highlights skills, experiences, and achievements to stand out to potential employers.
45 Minutes

Resume Review
 The resume review appointment provides personalized feedback, expert advice, and constructive suggestions on improving the resume, ensuring it effectively showcases skills, experiences, and accomplishments to stand out to potential employers.
30 Minutes

Networking Strategies
 The student will be with their advisor to learn effective networking strategies, build valuable connections within their field of interest, and gain insights into expanding their professional network, which can greatly enhance their career opportunities and job search success.
45 Minutes

Job Search Strategies and Support
 The Job Search Strategies and Support appointment provides tailored guidance, practical resources, and support in developing effective job search strategies, refining application materials, and navigating the competitive job market to secure meaningful employment opportunities that align with career goals.

Mock Interview
 The Mock Interview simulates a real job interview scenario. Participants will receive constructive feedback and practice to help improve interview skills, build confidence, and identify areas for improvement in relation to the interview and job search process.

Salary Negotiation
 The salary negotiation appointment provides valuable insights and negotiation techniques for discussing fair and competitive compensation and benefits packaging and is designed to assist with making informed decisions about career opportunities based on self-advocacy and worth.
