Effective communication is one of the most critical skills any HR professional can bring to the workplace - and this course is designed to build exactly that. Organizational Communication explores the principles and practices of professional communication in the modern workplace, with a focus on how communication shapes relationships, drives collaboration, and influences organizational outcomes. Students will examine communication across a variety of professional contexts including written correspondence, virtual meetings, interpersonal interactions, and difficult conversations. Drawing from Loos's experiential approach, students will not only learn communication frameworks but actively apply them, leaving the course with the confidence and competence to communicate effectively at every level of an organization.
