About HIM201 — Principles of Health Information Management

This course introduces the structure and management of health information services within healthcare organizations. Students examine the roles and responsibilities of HIM professionals, departmental operations, workforce planning, budgeting, and professional ethics. Special emphasis is placed on information governance principles and the application of leadership strategies to HIM practice.
