This course introduces students to the design, implementation, and evaluation of accounting information systems. Students will explore how accounting data is collected, processed, and reported to support business decision-making and internal controls. The course covers key topics such as transaction processing, system documentation, database management, and fraud prevention. Emphasis is placed on understanding how technology and information systems support accounting functions in modern organizations. This course prepares students for roles that require knowledge of accounting systems and data management in business environments.
