I hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Phoenix’s and have earned industry-recognized certifications, including CompTIA A+ and Security+. These certifications validate my expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting, as well as my knowledge of foundational cybersecurity concepts. Beyond my IT career, I’m a licensed commercial pilot and aviation enthusiast. Flying allows me to embrace my love for adventure and continuously challenge myself in new and exciting ways.
I’m Nick Erakat, an IT professional with over 15 years of experience. Starting as a helpdesk analyst and later becoming a desktop support engineer, I found my true passion in cybersecurity in 2015 and have been dedicated to it ever since. Throughout my professional journey, my focus has been on protecting organizations from cyber threats and ensuring the security of critical data. With a diverse skill set and extensive experience, I consistently implement robust security measures to safeguard digital assets. I feel I can share my Information Technology experiences and with a strong educational background, industry-recognized certifications, and a passion for aviation, I bring a unique blend of skills and perspectives to the table. My dedication to cybersecurity and my adventurous spirit makes me an asset in today’s ever-evolving IT landscape.
