Explore Our Networking Technician Certificate

Accelerate your learning with hands-on technical training and problem solving skills critical for professional network technicians. This program will prepare you to successfully earn up to two industry IT certifications (CompTIA Network+ and Cisco CCNA), so that you can demonstrate to future employers that you have the skills needed to be successful in the workplace. In addition, with CIAT’s stackable courses, all Certificate level courses count towards your completion of an Associate or Bachelor degree. Register for our Network Technician training program.

What You'll Learn

The Computer Network Technician Certificate program helps early-stage IT professionals move beyond the basics of hardware and software troubleshooting to build a specialized career in network administration.

  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot common wired and wireless networks and network devices
  • Learn about emerging technologies such as mobile, cloud, unified communications and virtualization technologies
  • Configure and troubleshoot LANs, WANs, TCP/IP, cabling, network applications, and more.
  • Install, operate, and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network
  • Configure Cisco routers and switches using Cisco Packet Tracker virtual simulation tools
  • Master basic network security skills using Cisco networking platform
