The CompTIA IT Fundamentals (Tech+) exam is designed for early stage IT professionals or career changers looking to start a new IT career. Our CompTIA Tech+ training focuses on the essential IT skills and knowledge needed to perform tasks commonly used by advanced end-users and entry-level IT professionals.
The CompTIA Tech+ exam serves as a great introductory IT certification to build your confidence and validates to employers that you have mastered fundamental IT skills related to PC hardware, operating systems, wireless networks, and more.
If you’re just getting started on your IT career path, have no prior IT experience, and are looking to build quick momentum, the CompTIA Tech+ Certification is a perfect place to start. As a beginner-level certification, it’s not expected that you have any prior years of working experience, or prior IT certifications under your belt.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CIAT has now enabled students to take the CompTIA Tech+ certification exam remotely from the comfort of your own home through CompTIA’s new “Test Anywhere” process. Don’t put your goals on hold or push off until normalcy returns.

The minimum passing score required for the CompTIA Tech+ FC0-U61 exam is 650 (on a scale of 900).
