CIAT Workforce Grant

For Employers who meet CIAT’s minimum required annual tuition assistance benefit amount, CIAT agrees to extend institutional aid through the CIAT Workforce Grant designed to enable eligible employees to complete their selected CIAT program of study without incurring student loan debt.

The CIAT Workforce Grant will cover the remaining balance of eligible tuition charges, technology fees, and lab fees required for the approved CIAT program after application of any Employer-provided education assistance and available Federal Pell Grant*.

The employee is responsible for the cost of textbooks and equipment fees**, where applicable. Student will be eligible to complete up to 36 credits per year while using the CIAT Workforce Grant.

The CIAT Workforce Grant will be calculated as: [Total Program Tuition + Required Fees – Employer Educational Assistance – Federal Pell Grant (if eligible) – CIAT Workforce Grant = Tuition-Free Program].

* Not all CIAT programs are eligible for Federal Pell Grant funding.

** Equipment fees are required for select technology programs.

Access to the CIAT Workforce Grant is subject to employee annual funding availability, minimum annual employer tuition benefit contribution, CIAT policies, program and availability requirements, and Employer established employee eligibility conditions.

CIAT and Employer intend that employees who fully utilize available employer tuition assistance, federal grant (if eligible), and CIAT institutional funding, will not need to incur personal debt to complete their educational program. CIAT aims to streamline the enrollment and financial process to allow employees to remain academically focused on completing their program of study.
