About Me:

Laona Burk obtained her bachelor’s and master’s in Chemistry from Northern Arizona University. Her research mainly focused on the biological and environmental impacts of uranium mining and naturally occurring arsenic contaminations. She has spent over 10 years teaching chemistry, biology, or mathematics at the college level.
Industry Experience: Burk currently works in the BioMed field and manages medical equipment at Palomar Hospital.
