Here at CIAT, we strive to make your education as flexible and affordable as possible by proudly offering military tuition assistance and benefits to service members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Whether you’re a veteran or on active duty, our resources will maximize your military benefits as you start out on your new path. See what CIAT has to offer and talk with one of our trusted VA Benefits Advisors for more information.
All CIAT Certificate and Degree programs are approved for VA benefits, including the Montgomery GI Bill and the Post 9/11 GI Bill®. The Post 9/11 GI Bill®, used by most military students, is an educational benefit for military personnel who have served on active duty for at least 90 days after 9/10/2001, or who were discharged with a service-related disability after 30 consecutive days. This bill can cover up to 100% of your tuition, includes a monthly housing allowance, and can help offset the cost of books and fees.
The SkillBridge program is designed to bridge the gap between military service and civilian careers, ensuring that the valuable skills and experiences acquired during service are effectively translated into marketable assets. This initiative benefits the individuals involved and contributes to the overall strength of the civilian workforce by infusing it with the discipline, leadership, and problem-solving abilities cultivated through military service.
The Navy College Program for Afloat College Education (NCPACE) enables active-duty sailors to continue their education during deployments and sea duty by offering quality distance learning courses with limited internet access required. NCPACE empowers sailors through flexible course materials and learning options, ensuring their military service doesn’t impede educational progress.
Veteran Readiness & Employment (VR&E), also known as Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment, helps veterans identify job training, employment accommodations, resume development, and job seeking skills coaching. The VR&E process is designed to assist Veterans with service-connected disabilities to obtain suitable employment and/or achieve independent living goals. This program may be eligible to cover up to 100% of your tuition, depending on your disability status. We will work directly with you and your counselor to design the right fit education plan to meet your academic and career goals.
The Edith Nourse Rogers Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) Scholarship allows some eligible Veterans and dependents in high-demand fields, such as the technology field, to extend their Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits – up to 9 months or $30,000 in tuition funds. CIAT Bachelor’s Degree students are eligible to apply for the VA STEM Scholarship.
CIAT Certificate and Degree programs are approved for the VA Yellow Ribbon Program. The Yellow Ribbon Program can help support your tuition related expenses if you are 100% eligible for Post-9/11 GI Bill Benefits and have maxed out your annual cap for tuition expenses.
CIAT proudly offers Active Duty Tuition Assistance for service members and extends a tuition discount to $250/credit for each with a personal maximum of $4,500 per fiscal year per student. Tuition Assistance (TA) funds are a unique, distinct source of financial aid available to eligible Service members. Tuition Assistance (TA) will be classified as a “first payer” and be applied to students’ account prior to the application of any Pell Grant awarded.
Your Active Duty benefits don’t end with you: they also extend to your spouse thanks to the Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA). This assistance package provides a maximum benefit of $4,000 with an annual fiscal cap of $2,000 that can be used to advance your spouse’s pursuit of our approved programs.
CIAT is approved for the GSA Multiple Award Schedule Contract GS35F-0364Y which provides access to discounted products and services for federal, state, and local government authorized representatives. Government contractors or military base personnel are eligible to apply for our GSA tuition discount, to save up to 22% off their program costs.
American Corporate Partners (ACP) is a national nonprofit organization focused on helping returning veterans and active-duty spouses find their next careers through one-on-one mentoring, networking, and online career advice. This is a one of a kind opportunity at no cost. CIAT partners with ACP to help position our military veterans for successful career mentorship opportunities.
Sentinels of Freedom was established to meet an entirely new underserved population. Their mission is to assist severely wounded, post-9/11 veterans in their efforts to become productive and self-sufficient members of their communities as they transition back into civilian life. CIAT partners with Sentinels of Freedom to help fill the gaps GI Bill payments do not cover. This allows veterans to focus their attention on their studies, career, and family.
Work for Warriors (WFW) is not for profit organization that provides free job placement support to veterans in California. Work For Warriors assists all Service Members, Veterans, their families, natural disaster survivors, and Youth Academy graduates. Their team of expert Veteran Staffing Consultants is available to help students through the end-to-end hiring process.
The CIAT Academic Partnerships Division’s mission is to forge impactful and lasting collaborations with corporations, educational institutions, the military, and the community. We are dedicated to fostering a dynamic ecosystem that bridges the gap between academia and industry, empowering individuals with cutting-edge knowledge and skills, and driving innovation to shape a brighter future.
