California Institute of Applied Technology has teamed up with Edcor, Tuition.io, and ISTS to support employees in upskilling with career-ready skills to advance to higher-level positions with their current employers. CIAT's flexible live online classes are built for working adults, with one-on-one tutoring, unlimited access to workshops and support, a unique unlimited certification exam policy, and dedicated advisors who help students discover professional goals and funding opportunities. Depending on your employer's tuition benefit, you'll qualify for one of two CIAT programs. Here's how it works.
Start with the tuition benefit your employer already offers through Edcor, Tuition.io, or ISTS. It's the foundation everything else builds on.
Employees using employer educational assistance receive CIAT's Preferred Employer Network Tuition Rate of $350 per credit, so your benefit goes further.
For employers whose contribution meets our program threshold, the Workforce Grant covers your remaining tuition and fees. No loans, no gap to fill yourself.
For employers whose contribution is below that threshold, CIAT matches it dollar for dollar at the Preferred Tuition Rate. You cover any remaining balance, plus textbooks and equipment where applicable.
Edcor is an industry-recognized leader in employer tuition assistance program management, helping Fortune 500 companies and large organizations turn education benefits into real workforce value. CIAT is proud to be a partner school within the Edcor preferred school network. If your employer uses Edcor to administer education benefits, you may qualify for the CIAT Workforce Grant, where your employer tuition assistance covers tuition and CIAT covers the rest, or CIAT Tuition Match, where CIAT matches your employer's contribution dollar for dollar at our Preferred Tuition Rate.
Tuition.io has helped employers turn education assistance into a powerful workforce benefit since 2012. Through CIAT's partnership with Tuition.io, employees can apply employer tuition benefits toward career-ready degree programs in technology, business, and healthcare. Depending on your employer's contribution, you may qualify for the CIAT Workforce Grant, which covers your remaining tuition, or CIAT Tuition Match, which matches your employer's contribution dollar for dollar.
CIAT has partnered with ISTS to help employees turn their company's education benefits into real career advancement. If your employer administers tuition reimbursement or educational assistance through ISTS, you may qualify for the CIAT Workforce Grant, where your employer benefit covers part of your tuition and CIAT covers the rest, or CIAT Tuition Match, where CIAT matches your employer's contribution dollar for dollar. Pursue an accredited certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree in technology, business, or healthcare with live, virtual classes built for working adults.
Your Preferred Tuition Rate extends to eligible family members too. It's a benefit for your whole household, not just you.
