About Ruby on Rails Framework

This course explores Ruby and its web development framework, Ruby on Rails. Topics covered include Ruby syntax, variables, control structures, methods, classes, blocks, and DSLs. Additionally, the course focuses on Ruby on Rails topics, including static pages, layouts, models, authentication, CRUD patterns, accounts and passwords, and deployment. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to design and build Ruby on Rails websites for use in production environments.


Prerequisites

Students must have completed ASD230 with a satisfactory grade.
