About ASD 104B – Web Application Development with PHP and MySQL Part 2
This course introduces students to the creation and maintenance of data- driven Web sites using PHP and MySQL. The students already acquired a foundational understanding of databases, how they are structured, and how transactions are performed on database. The course will include graphical user interfaces, and event-driven programming. Upon completion of the course students will be obtain skills involved in using PHP and MySQL to design and create database-enabled web applications.

Prerequisites
Students must have experience using a keyboard and mouse in a GUI-based OS such as Microsoft Windows or Macintosh and understand how to download and install programs found on the Internet.
Students must be familiar with principles of database design and access, SQL queries, as well as procedural programming, and debugging techniques, as well as control structures, data types, functions, arrays, and file processing. Prior HTML coding experience is highly preferred.
