About ADM 300B – C# Business Programming Part 2

This course continues covering C# business application development topics while students implement applications and the essential features of C#, Visual Studio, and .NET work. The focus of the course will be primarily on C# using the Visual Studio development environment teaches you how to create database applications using Entity Framework (EF) Core and ADO.NET code. And it shows how to use LINQ, a feature that lets you query almost any data structure…not just database, using the C# language. Upon completing the course, students will have confidence in handling business requirements, have a solid grounding in database programming, and see how real-world applications tie it all together.

  • How to work with inheritance 
  • How to work with interfaces and generics 
  • How to organize, document, and test your classes 
  • Basic skills for working with data, I/O,  and LINQ 
  • Use Database in programming 
  • How to use Entity Framework Core 
  • How to use ADO.NET to write your own data access code 
  • How to use the DataGridView control 

Prerequisites

Students must have experience using a keyboard and mouse in a GUI-based OS such as Microsoft Windows or Macintosh and understand how to download and install programs found on the Internet. Prerequisite ADM300A.
