CIAT Mission Valley Campus

About Mission Valley

Centrally located in San Diego, Mission Valley is a charming neighborhood for locals, commuters and service members alike looking to expand their educations. Rich in history, Mission Valley is the home of the very first mission in California. This landmark religious outpost was founded in 1769 by Father Junipero Serra and has recently been rebuilt and restored. It features beautiful fountains, exquisite gardens and a magnificent 46-foot bell tower fitted with 5 unique bells.

Mission Valley is just a short drive from the San Diego International Airport and presents local attractions such as the impressive San Diego Zoo and lively Downtown Gaslamp District. The zoo is the most visited in the country with over 3.2 million visitors each year. It hosts an exciting and exotic mix of wildlife from all over the globe such as rhinoceroses, lions, polar bears and more. Meanwhile, the neighborhood’s Gaslamp District is a 16-block national historic district lined with a variety of delectable restaurants and chic shops featuring wonderful Victorian architecture.

Getting around Mission Valley has never been easier either. The Green Line of the San Diego Trolley system runs straight through the neighborhood, making your commute to CIAT and local landmarks fun and easy. To top it all off, Mission Valley enjoys clear and sunny weather throughout the year, giving you the perfect excuse to get outside and log into your online course from nearby Presidio Park, which overlooks the city.

Mission Valley Campus

Our Mission Valley campus is a fountain of knowledge equipped with amenities and services to benefit you in every way possible. We believe the best way to learn is through personalized attention and support for each individual who walks through CIAT’s doors. That’s why we keep the class sizes on our Mission Valley campus small, allowing you to develop genuine connections with your instructors and peers.

While class is in session, our knowledgeable and personable faculty will guide you through lesson plans using state-of-the-art training equipment for hands-on demonstrations. This approach offers a more practical and active way of learning, giving you a better understanding of the material instead of just memorizing facts and processes out of a stuffy textbook.

When not in class, check out our inviting student lounge for a quiet place to escape and study for upcoming projects and exams. It’s in the student lounge where you can also take advantage of our career counseling and job placement services. Here you can speak with your advisor about your progression, refine your resume, participate in mock interviews and receive advanced job opening notices from our partner companies.

In addition, CIAT provides an abundance of complimentary student parking for easy and stress-free access to our Mission Valley campus. You’ll never have to worry about being late to class or your study group due to an overcrowded parking lot.

Every step of the way, we try to make building your career and earning your degree as easy as possible. See for yourself by scheduling a tour of our Mission Valley campus today.
